My first crochet vest

Recently, I pick up crochet skill by self learning from youtube and after few days of practicing basic stitches and I decided to do something for my son and after 1 week of hard work and countless redo because of inconsistent of tension, finally my son vest is completed :p

how is it for first timer? I'm sure there is a lot of improvement but my son like it very much...
